Pewter Tobacco Jar

Category:
Description

English
18th century
Pewter
Height: 6″

Highly decorated pewter tobacco jar inscribed with the name: “Jno Nash”. Mr. Nash was likely a farmer as the other engraved decoration includes a plow, wheat and a pair of crossed pipes. Visually interesting jar with banding and lots of decoration. Minor scratches commensurate with age and use.
