A rare yellow glazed, pierced Wedgewood basket and underplate circa 1830. Bright yellow with chocolate brown and iron red accents with reticulated edges and basket weave centers. Excellent condition with minor rim wear. Plate stamped on bottom “WEDGEWOOD” with the date letter P.
WHY WE LOVE IT: With the delicate nature of this piece, it is shocking that it has survived this many years. The bright yellow with brown and red decoration is a truly eye catching combination.
