This double-sided watch trade sign advertises the jewelry and stationery store of O.J. Dodge, which was a successful jewelry shop located at 170 North Main St, Barre Vermont. The sign likely dates to 1890-1906 as the business was destroyed by fire in the latter year. The sign survives in wonderful overall condition with a beautiful patina and expected wear from age and use.
WHY WE LOVE IT: Age, character, and a great piece of Americana!
