Founded in Buffalo, New York in 1866, Kittinger Furniture is one of the oldest built-to-order furniture manufacture in the U.S.. They are known for their traditional reproduction furniture and had contracts with Colonial Williamsburg and the White House. In the 1940s, they realized there was an emerging market for Hollywood Regency style furniture and created the Mandarin line. This pair of greek key chest are some of the most distinctive examples of Hollywood Regency that Kittinger produced. Like all furniture by Kittinger, the quality of these chests is very high, being constructed of solid oak with white veneer panelling. The applied brass fronts with greek key drawer pulls create a stunning package.
WHY WE LOVE IT: An iconic American style with a superior American craftsmanship. These chests work unbelievable well pushed together forming a credenza or separated and used as individual chests.
