This wonderful folk-art basket on stand is adorned with a great tobacco leaf pattern and was discovered in central Virginia. The basket is comprised of hand forged iron nails with copper and brass embellishments. There is a copper insert in the basket making it a perfect for plants. The base the basket rests on is made of rebar with copper wiring. The stretcher of the base is dated 1925. This basket on stand is one of a kind and would make the perfect addition to either an indoor or outdoor space.
