The “Old Mill and Cotton Press” depicts a Southern swamp with cotton gin and mill. Signed and dated “Malambre ’58” lower right. Housed in a painted and ebonized wood frame.

WHY WE LOVE IT: This is a charming little painting with a great provenance.  You can feel the heat coming off the swamp in this one.
