Prancing Horse Weathervane

New England
Circa 1855
Molded sheet copper and zinc
H: 22”; W: 31”

An expressive version of a prancing horse, particularly in the execution of the horse's face. Gently weathered, the vane survives in outstanding condition with a nice, original verdigis finish.
