Tiger maple, poplar and sycamore
Circa 1800
H: 75″; W: 40″; D: 18.5″

A handsome linen press in highly-figured tiger maple in a nice, mellow, early surface. The top is enhanced with applied arched molding and reeded quarter columns and a well-proportioned cornice. The bottom section has three drawers with their original brasses, reeded corner columns and nice, high bracket feet.

Minor repairs to the left door and frieze moldings. From a North Carolina estate.
