A highly successful candlestand that shows strong influences from Philadelphia. This stand features a finely turned dish top, birdcage, and suppressed ball turning, with a highly unusual extra ring below. The piece terminates in cabriole legs and pad feet. The stand was found in a Charlottesville Collection.
