The Philadelphia quarter-column chest of drawers is a standard in collecting American furniture.  This chest survives in excellent overall condition, retaining a rich finish, original brasses, and robust ogee bracket feet.  This chest would make a wonderful and useful addition to any collection.

 

WHY WE LOVE IT: In the antiques world you always hear how important condition is. This piece is a great chest to study for condition. It has original brass, a rich, early surface and an undisturbed secondary surface. This piece can stand on its own in a formal setting or extremely useful in a bedroom.
